Attractions in North Norfolk

North Norfolk provides an abundance of attractions to suit everybody, many of which the area is famous for. These are split up into: Arts, Crafts & Galleries; Historic Houses & Sites; Industrial Heritage; Museums; Parks & Gardens; Religious Sites; Theatres & Entertainment; Theme Parks & Activity Cenrtes; Visitor Centres; Water-based Attractions and Wildlife & Nature.

There is a variety of galleries in the area which display the best art that North Norfolk has to offer. It is also home to the world's longest 10¼ inch railway which connects Wells and Walsingham, a sea side resort to a place of pilgrimage.

The museums in the region show different sides of North Norfolk's history, these include: the Henry Blogg Museum which tells the story of the most famous lifeboat man and how he save many lives during his 53 years with the RNLI, there is also the Muckleburgh collection which displays tanks and armoured vehicles from World War Two onwards and that is just to name two of the many museums that North Norfolk has to offer!

There are many parks and gardens in the area, some of which are National Trust's and some private showcasing different characters and views of the untouched North Norfolk countryside. North Norfolk is also the home of many churches all with a different character.

North Norfolk also presents the opportunity to experience entertainment in new and exciting surroundings such as the ‘Seaside Special' in Cromer, which is performed at the end of the pier.

There are many water-based attractions within North Norfolk such as the inland waterways of the Broads and the seals at Blakeney Point. A variety of boat trips are offered to help you explore these places and to experience the wonder that they hold.
